Seneca Lake House in Wine District- Sleeps 5.

Seneca Lake Wine District Lake House -Sleeps Five.

Explore the Seneca Lake Wine Trail from a secluded home tucked into the
middle of a 15 acre grove of trees, streams and waterfalls, set back from
Seneca Lake. You might wish to walk up through the vineyards to two
wineries and a brewery to bring back something for the evening to drink on
the dock, while watching the setting sun. Fully stocked with wineglasses,
information on Finger Lakes Wine, and personal touring and restaurant
recommendations, the house is in rustic log cabin/frame style.

Complete with a master bedroom with a high-beamed ceiling and moon
windows, a second bedroom with a double bed, and one single room with a
standard bed and a built-in bed alcove for a child. There are two bathrooms, a
stereo system with an extensive library of records, tapes, and CDs, shelves of
books, and a selection of the best books (in my opinion) about the local area.

A walk through a grove and down a stairway takes you down to the lake and
the dock, set among other lake cottages. There is a place to tie your boat
(launching is at Lodi Point) and safe places for children to swim, including the
wading-pool stream in which generations of lake dwellers have splashed.
Seneca Lake is notable for fishing: the world’s largest lake trout are routinely
taken here.

This is a rustic home, built of local materials It is not a condo. Kids can leave
wet swimming suits on the floor and it’s not going to hurt anything. Your
well-behaved dog is welcome. Grill in the Weber and eat out on the picnic
table.
